Joni Hazelton - Handsome Properties
Joni arrived in Charleston in 2007 with her husband after ten moves, from coast to coast, twenty years in Delaware and three and a half years abroad in London, England.
Leaving the corporate life behind, and children launched, it was time to move to a location of their choice. With a long commitment to historic preservation, and a clear understanding of the relationship between community preservation and property values, it was natural for the Hazeltons to call Charleston home.
Service on the board of numerous Junior Leagues, membership in the Colonial Dames of America, and representing Delaware on the Board of Advisors of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, contributed to her passion and commitment to community and preservation. Since moving to Charleston, Joni has become actively involved as a volunteer in the Charleston community. She has served for five years on the Antiques Show Preview Committee for Historic Charleston Foundation and become a active member of the Garden Club of Charleston. She serves on the House and Garden Tours Committee for the Garden Club and in 2015 was elected to the board of the Charleston Horticultural Society.
With a keen interest in research and a background in marketing and communications she brings enthusiasm, perseverance and attention to detail that enables her to drive negotiations forward, while providing professional and discreet customer service to successful closings. She is keenly aware that delivering the very best customer service while providing total confidentiality for her clients is an essential part of her job. Finding the right property for the right price is a full time job. And it is a job she happens to love.
Best said by one of her customers.
"We highly recommend Joni for a buyer who requires a personable, hard working, dedicated professional for a realtor. She is passionate about her work and is always extremely thorough and prepared. Most importantly, she eats, lives, and breathes Charleston. This with her love of real estate is a winning combination."

My Favorite Thing about Charleston:
The unique sense of place that is Charleston. There is no place like this city in the world. The history, the architecture, the people, the gracious Southern hospitality, the culinary delights and of course the weather. Simply not a better place to be.
